    Zhe Chen (Fellow, IEEE) received the B.Eng. and M.Sc. degrees from the Northeast China Institute of Electric Power Engineering, Jilin City, China, and the Ph.D. degree from University of Durham, Durham, U.K.,He is currently a full Professor with the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark. He is the Leader of Wind Power System Research Program with the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University and the Danish Principle Investigator for Wind Energy of Sino-Danish Centre for Education and Research. His research interests include power systems, power electronics, and electric machines. His current research interests include wind energy and modern power systems. Dr. Chen is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, a member of editorial boards for many international journals, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), London, U.K., and a Chartered Engineer in the U.K.

    SHORT BIO-DATA:

    Professor Om P. Malik received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of London, U.K. He is currently a Professor Emeritus with the Department of Electrical and Software Engineering, University of Calgary, Canada. Professor Om P. Malik has done pioneering work in the development of controllers for application in electric power systems and wind power generation. His research interests include digital protection, control of renewable power generation and micro-grids, and AI applications in power system control. He has published over 800 papers and is the co-author of four books: Electric Distribution Systems, Power System Stability, Power Grids with Renewable Energy, and Power System Stability and Control. Over 100, including 54 Ph.D. students, have graduated under his supervision. Professor Malik is a Life Fellow of IEEE and a Fellow of IET, the Engineering Institute of Canada, the Canadian Academy of Engineering, Engineers Canada, and the World Innovation Foundation. He was Director of IEEE Region 7, President of IEEE Canada from 2010-11, and President of the Engineering Institute of Canada from 2014-2016.

    Professor Hongwei Wu, a distinguished academic with extensive expertise in Thermofluids, leads the Monitoring Climate and its Impact (MCI) Research Group at the University of Hertfordshire. He holds prestigious titles including Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Fellow of esteemed organizations such as the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE), the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS), and the Energy Institute (FEI). He obtained his BEng and PhD from Beihang University, with a joint program at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Professor Wu has held academic and research positions at various institutions including Northumbria University, University of the West of Scotland, and University of British Columbia. With over 170 publications, including 130 peer-reviewed journal articles in leading journals like Applied Energy and Journal of Power Sources, Professor Wu is committed to academic excellence. He serves as a reviewer for top journals, editorial board member for international journals, and plays pivotal roles in organizing international conferences.

    Prof. Sanxi Li graduated from Sun Yat-sen University's Department of Chemistry in 1983 with a bachelor's degree, then earned his Ph.D. in science from the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1989. He pursued postdoctoral research at Milan's Macromolecular Chemistry Institute from 1991 to 1994 and served as a senior researcher at LG Chemical's Polyolefin Research and Development Center in South Korea from 1997 to 1998. From 2006 to 2007, he was a senior visiting scholar at Iowa State University in the United States. Teaching at Shenyang Institute of Chemical Technology from 1990 to 2005, he has been at Shenyang University of Technology since 2005.

  • Proficient in polymer chemistry and fine chemicals, Prof. Sanxi Li has nurtured numerous talents domestically and internationally. His research focuses on polyolefin catalysts and new chemical materials, with recent emphasis on carbon peaking and neutrality. Recognized with various awards, including Liaoning Provincial Government's 2000 First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress, State Council's Special Allowance, and Shenyang's Top Ten Outstanding Young Intellectuals, he is esteemed as an Advanced Worker in Industry-University-Research Cooperation and has been honored with titles like Shenyang's Excellent Expert and Outstanding Professional and Technical Talent, and Shenyang's Top 100 Scientific and Technological Innovation Masters, along with the May 1st Medal.

  • Fa-Nian Shi, Ph.D., is a professor at Shenyang University of Technology, a supervisor, and a member of the Energy and Environment Committee of China Energy Society. He pursued his master's and doctorate degrees from 1991 to 1996 at the National Key Laboratory of Rare Earth Resources Utilization, Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

  • From 1996 to 2001, he served as a postdoctoral researcher at the National Key Laboratory of Coordination Chemistry, Nanjing University, and later as an associate professor at Nanjing Normal University. Between 2001 and 2014, he worked as a postdoctoral and research fellow at Aveiro University, Portugal, in the Department of Chemistry.

  • His current research focuses on the design and structure optimization of metal complex materials, composite materials, lithium-ion battery materials, photocatalysts, absorbing materials, and more. He has published over 160 academic papers, with more than 150 indexed in SCI, and six papers ranked in the ESI 1% high citation list worldwide. Dr. Shi has also led projects for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Liaoning Province Department of Education.

  • As the chairman of the International Conference on New Materials (NMS-XV IUPAC) held at Shenyang University of Technology in September 2019, and the 4th International Academic Conference on Manufacturing Technology, Materials, and Chemical Engineering (MTMCE 2021) in Hangzhou in May 2021, he has demonstrated leadership in organizing successful academic conferences.

    SHORT BIO-DATA:

    ilhami Colak was born in 1962 in Turkey. He received his diploma in electrical engineering from Gazi University, Turkey, in 1985. Then, he did his MSc degree in electrical engineering in the field of Speed Control of Wound Rotor Induction Machines Using Semiconductor Devices at Gazi University in 1991. He received his PhD degree from Aston University in England on Mixed Frequency Testing of Induction Machines Using Inverters in 1994. He became an Assistant Professor, an Associate Professor, and a full Professor in 1995, 1999 and 2005, respectively. He has published more than 440 papers on different subjects, including electrical machines, drive systems, machine learning, reactive power compensation, inverters, converters, artificial neural networks, distance learning, automation, renewable energy sources and smart grids in the SCOPUS with 36 h-index. More than 320 of his papers have been cited in the SCI database of Thomson Reuters with 28 h-index and received more than 3650 citations. He has organized more than 100 international conferences and workshops. In the last fifteen years, he has concentrated his studies on renewable energy and smart grids by publishing papers, journals (www.ijrer.org), and (www.ijSmartGrid.org) and organizing international IEEE sponsored conferences (www.icrera.org), and (www.icSmartGrid.org). He is also the editor-in-chief of Electric Power Components and Systems (https://www.tandfonline.com/toc/uemp20/current). He has 1 international and 3 national patents. He also spent around 3 years at the European Commission Research Centre (JRC) as an expert in the field of smart grids in the Netherlands. He used to be a dean of engineering faculty, vice rector and the rector of the Gelisim and Nisantasi universities. He is currently a full professor at Istinye University. Professor COLAK achieved a great success of 10% by being included in the "World's Most Influential Scientists" 2% list, which was created USA Stanford University considering the "Works of the Year 2020-2021-2022-2023".

    Prof. Shunli Wang is a Doctoral Supervisor, Academic Dean, Academic Leader of the National Electrical Safety and Quality Testing Center, Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Provincial Senior Overseas Talent, Provincial level scientific and technological talents, Academic and Technical Leader of China Science and Technology City, and top 2% of top scientists in the world, who is an authoritative expert in renewable energy research. His research interests include modeling, state estimation, and safety management for energy storage systems. 56 projects have been undertaken, including the projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Provincial Science and Technology Department. 258 research papers have been published (Research Interest Score: 11547; Citations: 3167; h-index: 29). 53 intellectual property rights have been applied, of which 23 authorizations have been approved. 9 books have been published by famous publishers such as Elsevier and IET. 23 honorary titles or awards have been achieved, such as young scholars and leading experts of innovative talent teams.     Professor Zhang Linnan, Vice President of the School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering at Shenyang University of Technology, was born on December 19th, 1973, in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, P.R. China. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Material Science from East China University of Science and Technology (Shanghai, P.R. China) from September 1992 to July 1996. He pursued his Master's Degree in Physical and Chemistry at Northeastern University (Shenyang, P.R. China) from September 1999 to March 2002. Subsequently, he earned his Doctorate in Physical and Chemistry from Northeastern University (Shenyang, P.R. China) from March 2003 to August 2005.

  • From July 2006 to September 2008, Professor Zhang was a Postdoctoral Researcher in Environmental Engineering at Peking University (Beijing, P.R. China). Additionally, from July 2011 to July 2012, he served as a Visiting Scholar in the Environment and Chemistry Department at Western Oregon University (Oregon, USA, Monmouth).

    Received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Annaba, Annaba, in 1994 and 1997, respectively. He was a lecturer at Annaba University from 2000 to 2010, and a senior consultant at the Algerian Institute of Petroleum (IAP Hassi Messaoud) from 2001 to 2010. He obtained the Ph.D. and the HDR (Habilitation à diriger des recherches) degrees at the University of Brest, Brest, France in 2011 and 2019 respectively.
    Ph.D. Yassine Amirat is currently a Professor of Electrical Engineering at ISEN Yncréa Ouest, Brest, France. He is an IEEE Senior Member, an associate Editor for Springer-Nature Electrical Engineering Journal, and an Editor of the MDPI Journal of Marine Science and Engineering.His main research interests include electrical machines faults detection and diagnosis, and advanced signal processing and statistics for power systems monitoring. He is also interested in renewable energy applications: wind turbines, marine current turbines, and energy management systems in hybrid generation systems.

    Dr. Jia's primary area of research is exposure and risk assessment of organic compounds in the ambient and indoor air. Specific research interests include community air toxics, indoor air quality (IAQ), measurement methods for air pollutants, and environmental health disparities. The air pollutants in his studies include polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and particulate matter (PM). The range and scope of his research are reflected in near 80 peer-reviewed journal articles, over 50 conference presentations, and a number of scientific reports. Dr. Jia's environmental monitoring laboratory has sophisticated instruments (e.g., GC/MS and HPLC) that can measure a wide range of air pollutants. Dr. Jia was a Harvard-JPB Environmental Health Fellow in 2014-2018. He also serves on Tennessee Air Pollution Control Board.
